Tom just completed the lamp shade made from mica and some old church glass.

The mica came from the local Tarheel Mica Plant  in Plum Tree  that closed several years ago and the glass from Charlotte’s Providence United Methodist Church’s original church building that was demolished to make room for a new family life center. Recycling these materials allowed Tom to create a beautiful piece of art.
